The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has created the opportunity for employers to train new and existing employees through the WEDnetPA program. Training is available to qualified in-state businesses and out-of-state companies relocating to the economic-friendly business climate of Pennsylvania — with funding accessed through WEDnetPA and made available by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED).
Companies can apply online and select any WEDnet PA partner — including State System universities, community colleges and other educational providers (click here for complete listing). Through the program, your company can benefit from a wide range of training that will put your employees on the path to higher performance.
Before applying for WEDnetPA job training funding for your company, PLEASE take a moment and make sure your company indeed qualifies for the training. Doing so will ensure you do not spend time applying when your company is not eligible for the funding.
Once you have done this and you believe your company qualifies, submit the online Training Inquiry form today.
When eligibility is confirmed, you will be contacted and asked to complete the online application and training plan to request grant funds. When your application is approved and you receive your award letter, your company may begin its training.
